The American Truck Driver is victimized by the Truck Giants and is currently assisted by the U.S. Government in the financial rape of the U.S. Truck Driver. Many major trucking companies now have their own truck driving school and are given tax breaks by the U.S. government to teach these students how to drive a truck. What actually takes place is the trucking company who operates these schools enrolls the student under a contract that say’s: if that student drives for the recruiting company for a year that individual student does not have to pay back the $3,000 to $10,000 dollars for the school, and to make things worse this student usually only nets a take home pay of only $200. dollars per week while in the 6 month training program. Mean while that trucking company is getting a tax break from the U.S. government for 6 months, and the giant trucking company virtually gets a free driver for 6 months. After the 6 month period the tax breaks from the government stops and the giant trucking company tries to fabricate a reason to get that new driver out of the truck then replaces that new 6 month old truck driver with a new fresh student driver and gets another 6 months of free driving from a new recruit that is paid by the U.S. government in the form of tax breaks. Then this new student John Doe, we use an example did not complete 1 year of driving for that company and is now obligated to pay the trucking giant $3,000 to $ 10,000 dollars for the truck driving school he attended and cannot get a job anywhere because he was fired or forced to quit for lack of freight which was mentally made up and a down right lie, because the trucking giant had plenty of freight and just needs more tax dollars from the federal government after 6 months of driving from their student and this victimized student doesn't have enough experience to get another job or else now has a negative deliberate tarnished employment record by the trucking giant which leaves a shortage of experienced truck drivers and opens the doors for more recruits to be victimized by these huge trucking companies. It’s a total Mafioso scam from top to bottom and side to side and they even hire actors to be witnesses in order to set up a driver and get him out of the truck; the methods these trucking giants use is virtually unlimited because they have so much liquid money available to victimize a new 6 month old student. It’s a big trucking scam and is making devious trucking companies like Swift and Central Refrigerated service very rich along with an array of other companies following in their foot steps. The reason us truck drivers need at least $2,000 dollars per week is because some of us make it past the 6 month period thru other non trucking giants accepting us on board. Most of these companies accepting 6 month old drivers are small trucking companies who for the most positive part are honest with the driver and only desires for that driver to show up for work every day on time and not buy the truck for them. Once a driver is on the road for several years he usually becomes isolated, divorced or else very poor and a small percentage of drivers end up working for the grocery stores that usually pay their drivers $2,000 per week and food and motel. But the rest of the non grocery food chain companies pocket most of the money and share very little with the driver who actually gets the job done. Another form of victimization is the fact a driver can not go to college or any school while driving a truck 12 to 14 hours per week 6 day’s per week and especially odds are diminished when he is team driving 48 states. In other words the driver is forced by the law of gravity to stay right where he is and then simultaneously, grows old with very little education and time and money to invest in his retirement or pension plan other than social security and a good broom to push as a janitor in another victimized environment.. Another sad part is that personal relationships with their wives become dissolved normally because a driver is never home nor do 90 percent of the drivers make enough money to keep a woman at home. A driver needs enough money to support a wife, house, car and at least 1 dog or child. This would give the drivers of America a normal life that used to be available to blue collar workers in 1950’s thru the 1970’s. Today in the year 2008 that is impossible for 90 percent of the commercial drivers to accomplish. The United States of America needs to invest more time and money into the American truck driver to insure a well trained source of drivers is always available and taken care of to insure economic growth for the United States of America. If the U.S. congress does not perceive the American Truck driver as a good investment; the industry is so volatile that the whole country could seize to function over night due to the mass power of the %5 percent of the American economy which is transportation and mostly made up of truck drivers who decide not to drive for a week because of congresses immense decision power on the American truck drivers future. In addition to the current dilemma the future of the American truck drivers children is also a major issue of the truck driver who really does need to send his kid to college and depends on his trucking profession to get the job done properly. College kids need cash from pops the truck driver to go to college, these truck driving children are underprivileged and have also been victimized by the trucking system of America but; these type of unique children should be uplifted from the sufferings of the American truck driving father and mothers who are never home and sacrificed their personal TV watching and many more indescribable freedoms simply to serve an ungrateful and unintentional American ignorant attitude towards the unique American truck driving professionals of America which covers: east coast to west coast on a weekly schedule. The truck drivers of America can literally shut down the United States of America over night… Every thing you buy in America was brought to your store by a truck. Congress needs to think very hard and consider the grave consequences to the American economy if congress does not decide to roll with the truck drivers but accepts bribes and money under the table from the giant trucking companies and decides to roll with them. There really is a massive political divide between the giant trucking companies and the individual truck driver... Congressmen and corrupt governmental politicians should not put the American truck drivers to the test to find out if they really will shut down the country at the expenses of the very low income tax payer who will suffer the most when there is no food on the grocery shelves of your local supermarket. We the truck drivers of America don't want to be mean we simply have a right to live a quality life in the country we physically feed and nourish day after day in a thank-less America, and we also need more money to build the quality life that we have earned one hard mile after the other hard mile. We the truck drivers who sign this petition are not playing games and we will shut down the United States of America for a measly $2,000 per week per driver which is a drop in the bucket for the rolling American economy who profits in the billions of dollars on the hard work, sweat and sacrifice of the American Truck driver who is nothing more than an ongoing continuous victim of the American society and deserves much more decent compensation and understanding from the their fellow American citizens that they serve on a 24 hour clock rotation. America please treat the American truck driver fairly and give them the freedom to enjoy the American dream just like you people who go home every night and turn on your television in your mansion or maybe even a straw hut but; it's still a dream for a veteran truck driver to have that privilege and a job at the same time then proceed to kiss your wife good night every night 7 days a week; when the real 48 state “wild” truck driver is lucky just to get a wag from his dogs tail once every 2 to 3 weeks and sometimes much longer… The federal rules in the log book has changed where the government wants a straight 11 hour driving work day and an allowance of 14 hours combined with on duty and driving hours with no legal naps if a driver gets tired. These laws were bought by giant trucking companies in form of bribes given to governmental transportation officials in an effort to get more production out of tired truck drivers. In other words these new improvements in the log book would prefer truck drivers to die versus stop that truck to take a 2 hour nap. America needs more truck drivers but on the same token American truck drivers need more money and a government to work on the side of the truck driver not the totalitarian giant trucking companies who's only goal is take advantage of a human life by treating that human driver like a object that is disposable and has no voice in government policies because they have no extra money to bribe government officials in the U.S. government. All you congressman vote right and reject that bribe then, protect the freedom families once had in this country before the diesel engine and super highways were ever invented. In conclusion: The bottom line is the American truck drivers are really courageous hero's... They risk and sacrifice their lives on a daily basis and battle the elements of the pavement outside your front door 24 hours per day, simply in a effort to make sure you have toilet paper in the morning and these courageous silent invisible hero's who roam the streets and highways at 3 o'clock in the morning should be compensated financially worry free for the human sacrifice they voluntarily offered America in hopes of a better future versus a more severe thankless death on the cement freeway bridge because they dosed off to sleep for lack of nutrition in their body or else maybe not enough money for a cup of coffee on their last hour, of the 11th hour, of their allowed driving time.
Money in the drivers pocket is important when on the open
highways of America. Foot note:
